Two A.M. and I'm still awake, writing a song.
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer
Inside of me, threat'nin' the life it belongs to.
And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd,
Cause these words are my diary, screamin' aloud.
And I know that you'll use them however you want to.
But you can't jump the track. We're like cars on a cable,
And life's like an hourglass glued to the table.
No one can find the rewind button now.
Sing it if you understand
And breathe, just breathe.

Thanks, everyone, for being so patient with the hiatus. I apologize for not telling you it was over on time, and a part of this journal is to tell you guys that it is over.
Also, I would like to announce an experiment that we're going to try within the club. I'd like to try themed submissions. Therefore, this month, your theme will be
Imagination. Write a piece of literature, whether poetry or prose, fiction or nonfiction, on the subject of imagination. The next journal will feature links to the original deviations of Imagination-themed submissions.
I'm adding another section to this Journal: Inspiration Station. This particular section will feature a piece of writing, image, or unrefined rant that will hopefully inspire you to write a piece. You can find it near the bottom of this journal.
Also, if you're feeling generous, this club could use a premium subscription! A premium subscription could do wonders for us, including:

Allowing us to conduct Polls so that we can gather our members' opinions on club suggestions and themes

Allowing us to feature deviations by our members and inspiring writers

Allowing us to starts threads in
our very own forum, so that members have an organized place to discuss submissions, suggest themes, and talk about Club-related issues.

Allowing us to create news articles, a better, more organized way of informing Club members of important events going on within the Club
... we really could use one!

Dear Doctor is a beautifully written, heart-wrenching story with excellent description, and unique figurative language that pulls the reader in.

I really wanted to thank you for the support I received from you in August. It really means a great deal to me!
